Competition - Sura #102 - Englishquran - Sura102
102. Competition
THESE 8 MECCAN verses were revealed after Plenty 108 and before Aimsgiving 107. They describe the race to get ahead or for worldly gain which distracts too many people. Its recital brings us blessings.
* Competition has distracted you
until you visit graveyards.
* Nevertheless you soon will know;
* once more, you soon shall know!
** Of course, if you realized
with absolute certainty
* how you will (all) see Hades,
* then you would see it
with the [very] eye of certainty;
* next you will be questioned
concerning bliss on that day.
